Sandra Kay Milsteadt

Born April 20, 1946 in Peoria to Richard Merle and Alberta (Steinseifer) Storm, she married Larry Clarence Milsteadt on June 20, 1964 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Kandi (Brian) Lee of Pekin; two sons, Larry Milsteadt, Jr. of Pekin and Mark Milsteadt of Marquette Heights; five grandsons, Drew Hannan of Overland Park, Kansas, Larry (Chelsea) Milsteadt, III of Lake Camelot, Cody (Taylor) Milsteadt of Pekin, Karson Milsteadt of East Peoria and Ian Milsteadt of Sunnyland; six great-grandchildren and another great-grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard Storm.

A 1964 graduate of Woodruff High School in Peoria, Sandy had worked for K-Mart and at County Market, both in Pekin.

Her grandsons were her life and she loved going to their sporting events and activities. Sandy also was a huge Chicago Blackhawks fan.

She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin.

Private family graveside services will be held at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate. No visitation is planned.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
