Scott R Hollis

Born February 8, 1963 in Peoria to Robert and Beverly (Thomas) Hollis, he married Janice A. Solner on December 30, 1988 in Pekin. 

Surviving are his wife; mother and step-father, Beverly and Jerry Potts of Pekin; 2 sons, Matthew Hollis and Andrew Hollis, both of Mackinaw; his grandfather, Ralph Thomas of Manito; 1 step-brother, Bradley (Dora) Potts of Pekin; 1 step-sister, Lisa (Jim) Hartman of Glasford; and a step-grandmother, Fannie Dearth of Pekin.

He was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents; and his maternal grandmother.

Scott was a truck driver for Prairie Farms Dairy in Peoria for the past 17 years.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1984-86. 

Scott was a member and co-treasurer of Ducks Unlimited Manito Chapter.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was an avid Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals fan.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2008 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel.  The Rev. Kevin A. Robbins will officiate.  Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2008 at the funeral home.  Cremation will follow the funeral.
