Most of you probably don't know who I am, and that's ok. I am Mark Havera. Scott's good friend and Cherie Havera's son. But I think that is what was so special about Scott. Most all of my friends know all of my other friends. Scott's don't. Scott's friend and family network was so vast that there was no way all his friends could have known each other. This large friend network came from his great ability to make you feel like you were the most important person when he was talking to you. You could tell he really cared. Nothing else at the time mattered to Scott when he was talking to you. You always had his undivided attention. And speaking of parties, no one loved to plan or attend a big party more than Scott. The parties won't be the same without hearing your big boisterous laugh. I'll also will not be able to look at a Christmas ornament or eat cheesecake or caramel apples without thinking of you. Thank you, Scott, for being such a great friend to me and my family, especially to my mom. I know the poem you picked out for today told us to miss you a little, but I am sorry, Scott, me and my family will miss you a lot.

To Scott's Family And Other Loved Ones Also Left Behind.....I Am So So Sorry.

My deepest condolences to Ron, Kitty and family. Former neighbor. Tony K.

So sorry to hear of Scott’s passing. Always a smile and kind words to welcome you. Talking to Scott always seemed like you just saw him last week but a few years could have passed. Rest in peace.

Scott's Family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Scott was a good guy; I left Comm Ed in 1986 and I still remember Scott. He helped me to learn "acceptance". Vaya con Dios, Scott.

First, I would like to express my sincere condolences to Scott’s family. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. I have so many wonderful memories of Scott and I back in the days of working at Powerton. My late husband, Fred and Scott and our very dear friend, Tom Dilla, who has passed as well were such good friends for many years. I remember all the parties, 4th of July get togethers when Scott lived in Chicago and yearly holiday dinners with friends. I remember going to Michigan in the Porsche! He sure loved that car! I know he will be dearly missed by so many. He was a great guy and wonderful long time friend.

So sorry for the family’s loss. Rick and I enjoyed seeing Scott and visiting with him occasionally . Thoughts and prayers to all.

Scott was a great neighbor and friend. I will most certainly miss our conversations. I do know without a doubt that Scott is in great hands right now without having to worry about the worldly troubles. I will miss you Scott. I have a feeling that you may have reunited with Lily.

With Deepest Sympathy

Steve Johnson

I am devastated to learn of Scott’s passing. From grade school to now, we still kept in touch over the years. A great friend and he will be missed. So very sorry for your loss.

My sincere sympathy to Scott’s brother Ron and family and to his closest friends. He was such a great guy. I saw him just last week having breakfast and we were able to visit a little and we shared what would be our last hug. 😔.
