Senta T Harbourn

Born on May 11, 1924 in Hannibal, MO to Pantaleone and Rosa (Raimondi) Genovese, she married Fred DeWitt Harbourn on August 31, 1946 in Hannibal, MO. He died November 19, 1993 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers Frank Genovese, Patrick Genovese, John Genovese, Joseph Genovese, Sam Genovese and Anthony Genovese and five sisters, Daisy Genovese, Angelina Viorel, Mary Montefusco, Louise Wilcox and Theresa Lamberson.

Surviving are one son, Buddy Joseph (Shannon) Harbourn of Green Valley; three grandchildren, Todd Harbourn of Pekin, Tyrone Harbourn of Morton and Tanya Harbourn Doubet of Pekin; six great-grandchildren, Michael Hiatt, Jesse Harbourn, Josh Harbourn, Deseree Bortell, Tyler Corlett and Devin Corlett and twin great-great-grandchildren, Sebastian and Sadie Hiatt. She also leaves one sister, Armenia Teresa Genovese Erlichman of Peoria; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Harbourn Garner of Quincy and Margaret L. Albert Harbourn of Hannibal, MO and many, many nieces and nephews in Illinois and Missouri.

Senta retired from W.T. Grants in Peoria in 1975. She enjoyed quilting.

Her graveside funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Holy Family Cemetery, formerly known as St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hannibal, MO. There will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
