Sharon Kay Bent

Born January 1, 1961 in Peoria to Edward Geoffrey and Beverly Joyce (Hook) Johnson, she married Teddy R. Bent on April 13, 1996 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are seven children, Corey Johnson of Peoria Heights, Amanda Minton, Jason Small, both of Lenoir, North Carolina, Jason (Casie Williamson) Love of Abingdon, William (Raven) Bent of Glasford, Audrea Divine and Andrea Bent, both of Abingdon; three adopted children, Jason Bent, Demarious Bent and Demere Bent, all of Pekin; twenty-three grandchildren; four sisters, Gail Pagen of Bartonville, Betty Jane Johnson of Peoria, Josie (Jeff) Andrews of Morton and April Johnson of Peoria and one brother, Darrell Johnson of South Pekin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Eddie Johnson.

Sharon last worked as an in home caregiver through Department of Rehabilitation Services.

A private family celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
