

PEKIN ~ Shelley Ann Wilson, 65, of Pekin, IL, passed away at 11:08 a.m. on February 15, 2026, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, surrounded by her children, Austin and Madison; her mother, Joyce; her sister, Chris; and her nephew, Coy.
Shelley was born on April 1, 1960, in Pekin to Terrance Aldo and Joyce Elaine (Thomas) Monti.
She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Heather Morgan.
She is survived by one son, Austin Wayne Wilson of Pekin; one daughter, Madison Christine Wilson of Pekin; her mother, Joyce Elaine (W. C.) Morgan of Pekin; one sister, Chris (Keith) McKerall of Birmingham, AL; one brother, Scott (Michelle) Monti of Charlotte, NC; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Shelley was very artistic throughout her life and enjoyed using her talents to craft and decorate. She worked as a CNA at Pekin Hospital for 20 years, where she cared for many with compassion and dedication. She had a tender heart and a gentle spirit. Her greatest joy was her children, and she gave them a lifetime of unconditional love. Those who knew her will remember her kindness, her creativity, and the way she always made others feel seen, valued, and cared for.
Cremation rites have been accorded to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
