

She was born October 3, 1946, in Peoria, to Walter L. Forbes and Betty Gene (Caldwell) Forbes. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Allen Forbes.
Surviving are her children, Kelley Schroeder of Peoria and Steven Schroeder Sr. of Pekin; as well as her grandchildren, Ashley (Talon) Ash, Tessa Schroeder, Kelsey Collins, Steven Schroeder Jr. and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Terry Forbes and sister, Margo Nelson.
She was a 1964 graduate of Pekin High School. She was a Peoria native and a local business owner most of her life. She owned and operated Shooter’s Pool League for more than 20 years. She owned the Tip Top Inn before expanding to Shooter’s Restaurant/Bar. She also worked at the Post Office Remote and Coding facility until she retired in the early 2000’s. She enjoyed playing pool, golfing, spending time with family, and walking her grand-dog, Buddy.
Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There are no services scheduled at this time.
