We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Aunt Sue. May she rest in peace.

I worked with Sue many years ago at Olympic Federal and will always remember how sweet and funny she was. She will be missed. Rest in Peace Sue.

In 2017 I purchased property in Pekin to open a new business. I was clueless about the regulations and all that I needed to do. Sue was such a blessing for me. She was so patient, kind and understanding. No matter how many times I called upon her for help, she never made me feel like a bother. Her smiles, friendliness and giving nature made everything so much easier for me. When I found out that she was battling cancer during that time, I was astounded. What a strong and beautiful soul! I'll never forget her and will strive to pass the kindness she gave me forward to others.

So sad,   I am terribly depressed about her passing.  We were such friends when I was in grade school and she lived on Park Avenue, a few houses away.  We played together every day. When I had my heart surgery in the first grade, Sue brought me my homework every single day and taught me what was covered in class so I could pass and move on to the 2nd grade with our class.  Last time, recently,  when she came into town and we all went to see her at the Southgate VFW,  I told her that she should be proud of how well thought of she is to have all many people came there just to see her.  When I was leaving she ran up to me and gave me a big hug and thanked me for coming and said how good it was to see me again.   She was such a good friend,  a real sweetheart.  She will be missed.   This news literally breaks my heart.

I worked with Sue for 25 years at the City. No matter how difficult the day she always had something to say, some pearl of wisdom or sometimes a bit of wit to lighten my mood. Sue was a great person to work with and always loved doing what she did for the community. She will be missed. My condolences to the family.

It was an absolute honor to know Sue. We shared many moments at work and I have so many good memories of her. She swore me in when I came to Pekin in 2015 and helped me to acclimate to the community. She was most certainly a pillar in the Pekin community. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family. Know that Sue served her community well.

I am so sorry to hear of Sue’s passing. She was always a pleasure to work with.  RIP my sister through cancer.

I worked with Sue when I was city attorney for Pekin many years ago. She was always well prepared and always very pleasant. She loved people and people loved her. My condolences to her family.

The last few days have been filled with so many emotions and It’s hard to find the right words that capture the deep loss and pain that I feel not only for myself but for everyone that had known Sue. Over the years while working with her she jokingly became my “work mom” and a cherished friend. She called me Nicholas and I called her Elizabeth.  She had such a great personality that enriched all of our lives daily. Every moment spent with Sue was a treasure. I can still hear her laughter and her funny jokes echoing in the halls which often brought some relief from what are typically hectic days. She loved her family so much and always was talking about her granddaughter and how proud she was of her!  Thank you, Sue, for the love and light you brought into all of our lives. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
