Susan is survived by five children, Bill Seelye of Missouri, Carla Irvin of Pekin, Janice Sestedt of Hanna City, Chuck Seelye and Barb Brown Haynes, both of Pekin; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves a bonus daughter, Valerie Kester Poe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Easterbelle Straley; her husband, Carl Seelye; one son, Steve Kemp; a grandson, Philip Sheff; three great-grandchildren, Savannah Sheff, Navaeh Sheff, and Chrislynn Sheff and one sister, Laura Westfall.
Susan loved helping take care of people and was a florist for many years. She loved her country life in Missouri.
A celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date. Cremation has been accorded.
