Tammy Jo Ward, 51, of Pekin, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 at her home. She was born July 14, 1962 in Chicago to Winfred and Gail (Balbinot) Ward. They survive along with her 2 daughters, Crystal Percy and Jenny Ann (James Early) Percy; 4 grandchildren, DeAnthony Donaldson, Kalynn Early, Shaylynn Haynes, Mason Early; 2 brothers, Joe Ward and Greg Kemp; sister, Sheila Baker; 2 nephews, Josh and Daniel Baker, and extended family, Norman, Cheryl, Howard Kimmel, and Sharon Nunn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Pickel and son, Mike Pickel. Tammy liked to do crafts, gardening, and loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles. She especially loved her family including her pets, Sugarland, Pepperjack and Hope. She also volunteered with the Food Pantry at Liberty Baptist Church in Pekin.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin. Cremation will be accorded following visitation.Memorials may be made to the family at any CEFCU. Online condolences may be made at www.davisonfultonwoolsey.com.
