Ted Wallace Beever

Born August 12, 1957 in Pekin to Ronald R. and Ronda (Phillips) Beever, Sr., he married Jeri L. Davis on November 12, 1993 in Pekin. She survives.

Also surviving is his mother, Ronda Davis of Pekin; three daughters, Erin Beever, Janelle Davis, both of Pekin and Kimberly Flowers of Muscatine, Iowa; one son, Ronald Rippey, III of Canton; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his grandmother, Nelda Martin of Pekin; one sister, Ronda (Jerry) Powell of Pekin; one brother, Ronald R. Beever, Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; one son, Ted Beever, Jr.; one sister, Toni Hilst; one brother, Terry Beever and his grandparents, Ted and Helen Beever.

Ted was a member of the Ironworkers Local 112 in East Peoria for 30 years.

A loving and caring husband, dad, grandpa, son and grandson, Ted had heart for others. He enjoyed fishing, camping, mushroom hunting and collecting rocks. He also loved gardening and will be fondly remembered for his tomatoes plants.

His visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Tazewell Animal Protective Society, 100 TAPS Lane, Pekin, Illinois 61554 or Illinois CancerCare Foundation, 8940 Wood Sage Road, Peoria, Illinois 61615.
