We had been gone for the last couple of weeks and we were so shocked and saddened to hear of Terry's passing. our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of loss. May God grant you peace. 

It seems like only yesterday you were born and had that curl on the top of your head. Time goes by so quickly. I wasn't around much of your adult life, but you always made me feel welcome when I came home and always had a smile. You will be in my heart forever.

My memories of Terry all trace back to my growing up with him as young teens.  His sister, Pam, was the sitter for my brother and me.  Unfortunately for Pam, Terry and I were pretty good at making Pam's life pretty difficult.  When we weren't turning Pam's hair gray Terry and I would find other things to do.  Terry sort of introduced me to professional wrestling.  If we weren't watching that we were trading baseball cards, watching baseball, playing baseball...doing something connected with a small white leather-bound ball.

Terry was taken from us entirely too soon.  I regret that I lost touch with a person who was so important to me growing up.  Time, distance, and the business of life and being grown-up all too often get in the way of keeping the ties that bind us tight.  I'm not surprised to hear of the ways he found to serve others...that was Terry.

I and my family will keep Terry and his family in our prayers.  We all lost a gem in Terry.  His ear-to-ear smile will forever shine as part of the Martin/Cooling legacy.  God Bless, my childhood friend.

I just wanted to tell you how sorry we are for your loss. I was remembering when I was a kid and would go over to Uncle Tommy and Aunt Mabels and how Terry would always get in the pool and play with us and he would let us play with his remote control car in the house even though Aunt Mabel said we couldnt..lol. I always being around Terry and he is really going to be missed. After we moved to Texas, we didn't get to see him much, but I will always remember how much fun he was to be around!!

We were so sorry to hear of this very sad news. Our hearts and prayers got out to all of the family. We wish we could be there with all of you. 

As we talked about Terry we remembered what he did when we were on vacation a long time ago. After a very long drive with five kids and two adults in the back of Tommy's truck we finally arrived at Potato Lake, in Wisconsin. As we all stood looking at Potato Lake, Terry overstepped the dock and down he went, into the lake. It was so funny because he was in very shallow water. I'm sure that everyone that was there will probably remember him and all of us laughing till we almost dropped to our knees. 

As we laughed remembering the old times we thought of all of you and the sad times you have ahead. For Terry's wife and daughter it's not going to be easy, but with Faith and belief in God, they will make it.
