Theodore K. "Ted" Preston

Born July 28, 1936 in Buffalo, NY to Theodore N. and Dorothy M. (Hofer) Preston, he married Joan Schneller on May 4, 1957 in Buffalo.  She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Theodore K. Preston, Jr. of Springfield, IL and Robert S. Preston of Pekin; two daughters, Vicki A. Preston of Cheektowaga, NY and Yvonne M. Iovine of Bear, DE; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Ted had served in the National Guard.

He was an electrician for more than 40 years working out of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 41 in Buffalo, retiring in 1996.

His passion was horses and he was a lifelong member of the Lou Eibl Corral in Cherry Creek, NY.

He was of the Lutheran faith.

Private burial will be in Ridge Lawn Cemetery in Cheektowaga, NY.  Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.
