Born October 21, 1944 in Providence, Rhode Island to Robert F. and Lillian (Viens) Bodine, she married Jay D. Zimmerman on June 12, 1965 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Kimberly (Dana) Calhoun of Rock Island; one son, Scott (Sandie) Zimmerman of Noblesville, Indiana; four grandchildren, Jordan Zimmerman, Alyssa Zimmerman, both of
Noblesville, Kathryn Calhoun, Sera Calhoun, both of Rock Island; one brother and two sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
A graduate of Oehrlein School of Cosmetology, Terri was a beautician for more than 30 years, last working at Central Hair Salon in Pekin. She also had been a longtime secretary at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Pekin.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin. She also was a member of the Rachel-Sarah Circle and United Methodist Women of the church. Terri formerly was active with Walk to Emmaus and Prison Ministry.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin. Pastor Eric N. Swanson will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin, and also from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
