

Born August 13, 1930 in Kankakee to Michael and Lottie (Staniszewski) Mrozowicz, she married Alexander A. Juska on July 1, 1950 in Kankakee. He died May 2, 2009 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one infant daughter, Bridgett Juska; one brother and three sisters.
Surviving are one son, Charles P. "Chuck" (Lea Ann) Juska of Pekin; one daughter, Patricia G. "Patty" (Kenneth) Grandys of Peoria; and four grandchildren, Renae Juska of Pekin, Aaron (Beth) Ganci of Columbus, Ohio, Theresa Grandys of Urbana and Michelle (Rob) Watson of Bloomington.
Theresa was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin, where she was a member of the Council of Catholic Women. She formerly was a member of the Women's Auxiliary at the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Kankakee.
In 2000, she retired from Jaffee Pharmacy in Kankakee after 52 years of service, where she started as asoda jerk.
She enjoyed knitting and doing ceramics.
Her funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. Father W. Patrick Fixsen will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2010at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin.
