Thomas J Fryman

Born May 12, 1927 in Banner to Lee and Cora (Weir) Fryman, he married Shirley Jean Zigenbein in 1957 in Pekin.

Surviving are three sons, Rick (Julie) Fryman and Mike (Tami) Fryman, both of Pekin and Bill (Kim) Fryman of Manson, Iowa; one daughter, Valerie Slater of Peoria; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jimmy Fryman and Jack (Bonnie) Fryman, both of Pekin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Tommy; six sisters; and three brothers.

Tom was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Pekin.

He had served in the United States Air Force during World War II.

He had worked as a laborer for the Laborers’ Local 231 in Pekin.

Tom was an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan.

Cremation rites will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Services will be private.
