He was born March 24, 1973, in Berwyn to Timothy M. and Susan (Calvin) McCarthy, Sr. His parents and one infant child had preceded him in death.
Surviving is his step-daughter, Penelope McCarthy of Farmington; two brothers, Jon McCarthy of Arizona and Mark (Valerie) Ziemkowski ; one sister, Carrie Robicheaux of Illinois and several nieces and nephews.
Tim was a man of many hats – he had worked at an auto parts store, Caterpillar Inc. and an auction house. He had volunteered at Fur Angels Animal Shelter for some time.
He enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. In his house Tim had been working on converting a bedroom to a Lionel Train track room. He also enjoyed RC car models.
There will be no services at this time. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
