

He was born February 18, 1969, in Peoria to Edmund Philip Nischwitz and Linda Lue (Utley) Nischwitz. His parents and one brother, John Ray, preceded him in death.
Surviving are his fiancé, Shannon Maskrey; two daughters, Samantha (Eric) Tomblin of Dunlap and Stephanie (Nick) Nischwitz of Pekin; eight grandchildren; one sister, Lavina Washburn and one niece.
Timothy was a machinist at Caterpillar, Inc. for over 20 years.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren, camping, fishing, grilling, listening to music and fixing things in the garage.
His visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Burial will be at noon Saturday at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Following the burial, a celebration of Timothy's life will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Pekin Moose Lodge 916, 2605 Broadway Street in Pekin.
