

He was born March 7, 1990 in Pekin to Jeremy and Amy (Byars) Spracklen.
Surviving are his mother and step-father, Amy and Brad Scheerer of Pekin; his father, Jeremy Spracklen of Manito; two children, Aiden Byars and Payton Camp; two brothers, Zachary Swords of Monomonee Falls, Wisconsin and Dylan Swords of Pekin; one step-brother, Ethan Scheerer, stationed abroad in the Navy; one step-sister, Kayleigh Scheerer of Logan Sport, Indiana; and his grandparents, Rich and Linda Byars of Pekin, Lynn Spracklen of Manito and Larry and Marge Anderson of Pekin.
He was preceded in death by his step-grandmother, Debora Scheerer, whom he was very close to.
Tyler worked as a farm hand alongside his father and neighbors.
He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and camping. Tyler also enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his kids.
His family will remember him as a kindhearted and gentle man.
A gathering celebrating Tyler’s life will be held at a later date.
Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory.
