

Born May 4, 1926 in Salem, MO to John Henry and Laura (Moses) Springman, she married Grayson Alec Walker on December 2, 1960 in Montgomery City, MO. He died May 30, 2002 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Chris Wohlbold; four brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Dennis D. (Susan) Walker of Havana and James Edward Walker of Morton; one daughter, Gloria Jean (Charles) Wohlbold of Wellsville, MO; one granddaughter, Traci Walker of Pekin; one grandson, Jamie S. Wohlbold of Warrenton, MO; one step-granddaughter, Erika J. (Phil) Foster of Havana; four great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Ervin (Alaira) Springman of Pekin and two sisters, Grace Chrisco of Tucson, AZ and Martha Sue Schafer of Salem, MO.
A homemaker, Lucille loved to fish. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She also was fond of going through family pictures. She enjoyed going on trips with her family especially her grandchildren.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Tony Darr will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
