Virginia A. Brecher

She was born December 21, 1914 in Belvidere, Illinois to Arthur and Catherine (Briggs) Sullivan. She married Marvin Brecher in Groveland on February 25, 1936. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 3 grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by 3 children, Donald (Mary) Brecher of Morton, Ann (Ken) Schwartz of Morton, John (Nancy) Brecher of Kyle, TX; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Zion Evangelical United Methodist Church in rural Groveland.

The family would like to thank Morton Villa for all of the care they gave Virginia over the last 12 years and also Harbor Light Hospice for their care.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2013 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin with Rev. Kirk Moser officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services on Monday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Zion Evangelical United Methodist Church Cemetery in rural Groveland.
