

Born August 7, 1935 in Kingston Mines to C. Russell and Evelyn (Rawley) Bitner, she married James Eugene Harrison on August 22, 1953 in Lewistown. He died December 5, 2009 in Pekin. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Gary Bitner; and two sisters, Linda Cornwell and Shirley Dwyer.
Surviving are three daughters, Billie (Keith) Yeske, Bobbi (Donald) Wotton, and Kelly (James) Flairty, all of Pekin; eight grandchildren, Nick Wotton, Brooke Cain, Mike Yavorshak, Shane Flairty, Jeff Wotton, Jason Wotton, Amy Wilson, and Jeff Flairty; nine great-grandchildren; four sisters, Kay Harrison of Glasford, Renee (Ralph) Lawson of Pekin, and Karen “Sue” Brakebill and Terry Lynn Rogers, both of Florida; one brother, Charles “Chuck” Bitner of Maywood; and many nieces and nephews
A homemaker, Vivian enjoyed fishing, bird watching, going to garage sales, and playing canasta.
She had attended Kingston Mines United Methodist Church.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday April 20, 2013 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin, where visitation will be one hour before the funeral. The Rev. Gary Ford will officiate. Burial will be in Kingston Mines Cemetery.
