She was born on July 7, 1961 in Pekin, the youngest daughter of Shirley and Virgil Revelle, Sr.
She is survived by her son, Mathew Heilman (Mandy) and daughter Misty Heilman (Jason Carnahan). Also surviving are her siblings, Sherrie Miller (Ted) and Virgil Jr. "Boo" Revelle (Cheryl), grandchildren Alyssa Christensen (Zack), Brandon Heilman, and Jace Hackman, great-grandchildren Nova Christensen and Ella Christensen, as well as several nieces and nephews that she loved deeply.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Brady Hackman, grandparents Russel and Wilma Revelle, former in-laws Mary Heilman and Donald & Maxine Heilman, and her beloved grand-dog Payton.
Wanda grew up in South Pekin and later attended Forman High School. On her 18th birthday, she started her first job at Pizza Hut, which turned into a career of over 25 years. Through hard work and determination, she worked her way up to the role of District Manager in the Streator and Morris, Illinois area.
Wanda found strength and hope in Christ and faithfully watched service with Pastor Tim of Summit Point Church every Sunday.
Later in life, Wanda enjoyed spending time with her family, taking family vacations to Lake of the Ozarks, going on cruises, and gambling on the chance of getting rich betting a dollar at a time. She also took great care of the squirrels and birds of Lake Arlann during her final days.
Our family would like to thank OSF Hospice for their care and guidance during this difficult time, especially her nurses Michelle and Ruby.
Per Wanda's wishes, cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services. Private family inurnment will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Children's Home Christmas Fund, 2130 North Knoxville Avenue, Peoria, Illinois 61603.
