

Born February 10, 1933 in Ashland, Mississippi, he was a son of Virgil R. and Ineva (Elliott) Agee. His parents preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by one daughter, Terri R. Agee on April 14, 2016; one brother, James Harley Agee and one sister, Frances Jean “Fran” Houston.
Surviving are one daughter, Tina (Ron) Langford of O’Fallon, Illinois; four grandchildren, Torri (Aaron) Davis of Troy, Todd (Lindsey) Langford, Tyler (Laini) Langford, both of Derby, Kansas, and Tia Gall of Bartonville; nine great-grandchildren and two sisters, Laxine Montgomery of Creve Coeur and Gerry (Jim) Sego of Pekin
He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and attained the rank of Corporal.
Bill worked out of Operating Engineers Local 649 in Peoria for 42 years. He last worked as business manager and retired in 1995.
He enjoyed working on and restoring Corvettes and trucks. He also enjoyed woodworking. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family. He was loyal, a true patriot, and a hard worker.
His graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2026 at Fon du Lac Township Cemetery in East Peoria. Pastor Josh Mehrle will officiate. Military rites will be accorded by the United States Army and the Tazewell Military Rites Team. There will be no public visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
