He was born February 9, 1942 in Pekin to Lewis W. and Thelma Mae (DeBoer) Harmon. His parents and one brother preceded him in death.
Surviving are one brother, Larry Gene Harmon of Pekin; and two sisters, Beverly Jean Harmon Jones and Marilyn Ann Beever, both of Pekin.
He had worked at the Pekin Foundry.
Cremation rites were accorded. There will be no services. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
