Wilma G Hunt

Wilma was born September 4, 1948 in Mohawk, WV to Elmer and Viola (McCoy) Hunt.

Surviving are one son, Brian Moore of Pekin; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five sisters, Wanda (Curt) Moore, Sharon Hunt, Joy Metcalf, Angie (Jeremy) Bishop, all of Pekin and Pam (Tony) Thompson of Peoria; five brothers, Ronnie Hunt, Randy Hunt, Ray Hunt, Timmy Hunt and Terry Hunt, all of Pekin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Cathy Hunt.

Wilma had worked at Hallmark House Nursing Center since 1999 as a laundry aide, last working in 2009.

She loved music and her family. Wilma particularly loved watching her son and grandsons play music.

Wilma was of the Baptist faith.

Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Thursday September 15, 2011 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Rev. Jim Dawson will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
