

Born December 28, 1930 in Walnut to Carl Dean and Helen Bessie (Parlier) Lathrop, she married Leonard J. Schwarz on September 17, 1948 in Cambridge. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Rebecca Lynn (Richard) Stone of Eufaula, AL, Judy Kay Wilson of Pekin and Penny Jo (Les) Wright of Washington; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Francis (Joyce) Lathrop of Grain Valley, MO and two sisters, Mavis (Gordon) Currier of Sedalia, MO and Joreen (Taylor) Jensen of Malden, SC.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Nyckie Gorman; three brothers and one sister. A homemaker, Wilma served as a Brownie Den Leader for her daughters. She also loved music, working crossword puzzles and dining out.
Wilma was a member of First Christian Church in Pekin.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Hank Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be one hourbefore the service. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
