Dr. A. Wayne Crumpton, Pastor Emeritus of First Baptist Church Alabaster was in ministry for over 50 years and preceded in death by parents Arthur Leonard & Martha Elizabeth Crumpton, wife of 25 years Carole Tyler Crumpton, sons Steven Wayne & Michael Scott. Survivors are brothers Ken Crumpton (Shirley) and Mike Crumpton, sons Jeff Crumpton (Ashley) & Clay Crumpton; grandchildren Brittany (Crumpton) Osgood, Caroline, Lana & Matthew Crumpton & great-grandchildren Isabel & David Osgood. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church Alabaster, Thursday, January 16th from 5-8 PM with funeral service Friday, January 17th at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church Alabaster “Bridge to the Future Fund” as a memoriam for Wayne Crumpton.
