

Alec earned the Bachelor of Science Degree from Livingston College. His professional career was in teaching and as a small business owner. His passions in life were for God, Auburn University football, and grilling meals for family and friends.
Alec was predeceased by his wife, Mary Faye Boozer, to whom he was married on August 27, 1960. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Luther Ezell Boozer, Jr. and Myrtie Belle Mason Boozer; and four brothers, Luke, Lester, Charles, and Jewel Boozer.
Survivors include Alec's two daughters, Karen Gilbert (Jeremy) and Julie Armstrong (Tim), and one granddaughter, Jessica Armstrong.
Visitation will be at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 12 noon to 1 p.m., followed by A Service of Remembrance for Alec at 1 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham.
