She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on August 4, 1984. Amanda graduated from Clay-Chalkville and received an ASN nursing Degree from Jefferson State Community College.
She was married to Nicholas A. McDowell on May 29, 2009.
Amanda R. McDowell had a career in Nursing-RN for Trinity Hospital, Golden Living Center, and AlaCare Hospice. She had a passion for music, Auburn football, and her family.
She is survived by her children Karis L. McDowell (11), Harper R. McDowell (9), and Scarlet R. McDowell (5). Her parents Shelia K. Thompson, Trussville, AL, and J.R. Johnson, Athens, AL. Her Sister Melanie Burger.
A private service for Amanda will be held at 11 A.M., February 6, 2021, at Pelham Park.
