Anne Tillett Reiser, widow of the late William Edward Reiser of Mountain Brook, Alabama, died May 1, 2019. Anne was the daughter of the late Wilbur Fisk Tillett and Anne Parker Tillett of Durham, North Carolina. Born September 13, 1929, in Newport News, Virginia, she grew up in North Carolina and graduated from Duke University in 1951, where she majored in English. After college, Anne went to work in Atlanta for Rich's in Personnel, writing and illustrating brochures for employees, as well as teaching training classes. While in Atlanta, Anne met her future husband, and they lived in Georgia until moving to Birmingham in 1967. She relocated to Marietta, Georgia, in 2017.
Anne was an active member of Shades Valley Presbyterian Church, where she was an elder and a member of the Chancel Committee and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She was active in other local civic and cultural organizations, including Rosecrest Garden Club and Mountain Brook Art Association, where she served two years as president. She was a signature member of the Watercolor Society of Alabama and a member of Artists Incorporated Gallery.
She is survived by her four children, Kathy Pietkiewicz (Stan), Betsy Williams (Doug), Martha Williams (Jeff), Billy Reiser (Sally); 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, on Monday, May 13 at 9:30am followed by a graveside service for family at 11:00.
