Arnold Ray Moore

Arnold R. Moore age 86 of Hoover, AL passed away November 18, 2016. He was born at his family farm home in Kingston, TN on January 31, 1930. He attended Paint Rock Elementary School and graduated from Midway High School in 1948 where he loved to play basketball. After high school Arnold worked in Detroit, Michigan and then enlisted in the U.S. Army serving 2 years during the Korean War. After receiving a honorable discharge Arnold returned to East Tennessee and began working at Oak Ridge National Laboratories at Y-12. After leaving Y-12 Arnold began preaching for the Churches of Christ. He started n Oliver Springs, TN and then went to Jacksonville, FL and was there until he came to Hoover, AL and began his career in real estate. He established Green Brook Realtors which he operated until his retirement.

He is preceded in death by; his wife; Kathleen Kathy Moore; his son; Stephen Craig Moore; his father and mother; Arthur and Ida Moore; his sisters; Duly Moore, Lillie Moore, Lucy Moore, Rose Moore, his brothers; Arch Moore, Walter Moore, Rufe Moore, Doc Moore, Starl Moore, he is survived by is daughter; Tanya Lisa Moore, his sisters; Carrie Patton and Beulah Clower.
