A chance meeting on the QM2 some time ago now, but it was an absolute pleasure to be able to sit with a family member who had so many stories to tell and enlightened me with family life in the USA, and took the time to pour his energies into providing us all with our "family tree".

For that, we are truly grateful.

As a relative, you have touched many hearts Arthur and I dare say with friends and colleagues also.

Somebody I shall never forget x thank you for coming into our lives x Rest in Peace x

Dr. Ludwig was "one of a kind"! My most favorite medical director! He was very bright, always accessible, loyal, supportive, and dedicated! He always had time for you and whatever issue you needed to discuss. I knew I could always depend on him for advice, input, and support. I cherish my memories with Dr. Ludwig at Princeton BMC! His legacy lives on!!

I am a former high school classmate (U of Detroit High, '51)and just learned of Art's death. We were close friends many years ago and have been emailing each other often over the past two decades.May his soul rest in peace.

Dr. Ludwig was one of my favorite customers at The First National Bank of Birmingham back in the 1970's.  He was such a fine gentleman and I enjoyed knowing him very much.

Dr. Ludwig was my favorite person to work with at Princeton. He's the person who suggested I go to nursing school even at my advanced age. He had a kind heart and the best dry humor I've known. He was an original.

May the God that you so ardently admired, praised and served when we were in college look upon your time in this life with understanding and welcome you to an eternal life in the world He has prepared for those who have served in the role He guided them to follow.
