Oh how I loved this lady. She used to come to my house for a Christmas party and she loved to play bingo and go shopping in the
gift room . After everybody else had left she still wanted to go shopping one more time. She always called me her other little girl since I lived with them as a child for several years. What a wonderful lady.

I have such wonderful memories of this precious lady, and I can still remember how positive and helpful she was to me as I tried to be a THS majorette sponsor. Her daughter, Denise, was one of the majorettes, and Mrs. Lawson was very helpful with our girls uniforms, practice sessions, etc. I appreciate this fine woman's life and how she nurtured her children.
