Barbara C. Wilson, 86 of Montevallo, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Kingwood Assembly of God. She was also active in the Joyful Stitchers sewing group of the First Baptist Church of Alabaster. Barbara retired from Motion Industries in Irondale, Alabama. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt; and will be dearly missed.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her son, James Michael Arnold (Vicki); sisters, Mrs. Jimmie Gail Sharp and Mrs. Merrianne Falkner (Butch); grandchildren, Matthew Arnold (Chrissy), Mark Arnold, and Daniel Arnold (Reka); and great grandson, Ryan Arnold.
The celebration of Barbara’s life will be at 2pm on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, with a private burial following at Marvin’s Chapel in Pinson. The family will receive friends at a visitation beginning at 1pm.
