Betty received her formal education at Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery. She furthered her education at Auburn University. She worked in retail sales and as a secretary for several organizations.
In her leisure, she enjoyed needlework and crocheting afghans and baby blankets for charity and loved ones. She was married to William E. "Bill" Bedsole on June 23, 1956. Their union was blessed with three children.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband; and son, David Bedsole.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Steve (Janet) Bedsole, and Becky Bedsole; grandchildren, Robert (Alyssa) Bedsole, Laura (Travis) Midkiff; sister-in-law, Donna Igleheart.
