Betty was a loving mother of two daughters, C. Renee Thompson and her husband Sammy, and Carla G. Hilliard and her husband Joe. In addition to her daughters, she is survived by six grandchildren, Zachary Hilliard and his wife Caroline, Amanda Hilliard, Sawyer Thompson and his wife Megan, Carly Grace Thompson, Lindsey Renee Thompson, and Tyler Thompson; two great-grandchildren, Cooper and Parker Thompson; one sister, Brenda Yates; and a niece, Lori Johnson and her husband Steve.
Visitation will be 1:30-3 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, immediately followed by the graveside service at the adjoining Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
