Betty Ann Cobb Ware of Birmingham, Alabama passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024. She was the wife of Thomas Hamon Ware for 57 years, and the excellent mother of Terry Wayne, Elise Marie, and Cecilia Ann Ware.
Betty is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Joan Ware; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Matthew and Sarah Ware; and great-grandchildren, Jonathan, David, Lydia, and Peter Ware.
Betty was a 35-year employee and manager at BellSouth, and a member of Telephone Pioneers. She sang in the sopranos section of the choir at Taylor Memorial Methodist Church for many years, and later was a long-time, dedicated member of Mountain Chapel Methodist Church, where she served on various committees and was a UMW member. She loved to decorate her home, arrange flowers, and travel.
Betty's family will greet friends from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama. Also on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, the graveside service will be at 1 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville, Alabama.
