Beverly Joan "B.J." Niedermeier

B.J. graduated Cum Laude from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and worked many years in the University Hospital system. It was there that she met the love of her life, Dr. William Niedermeier. They were married for 30 years until his death in 2004.

She had an extraordinary green thumb and loved spending time with her flowers and in her “park.” She loved her animals and left behind her beloved dog, Savannah. She also enjoyed riding her horse and participating in equestrian events, winning several awards. She enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes and loved sharing them with her family.

B.J. is predeceased by her husband, Dr. William Niedermeier, and her father, William John Lawrence Jr. She is survived by her mother, Mary Ruth Webb (98); her half-siblings, Dr. John Lawrence and Jane Silvetti; her loving son, Richard Niedermeier (Krista); and granddaughter, Josie.

B.J.'s ashes will be interred at the Alabama National Cemetary in Montevallo together with her husband’s memorial. Due to Covid 19, the family will have a private service at a date to be determined.

B.J. will be greatly missed and remain UNFORGETTABLE in our hearts forever.
