Billy Ray Wooten

Billy was a U.S. Army Veteran, Mason, and Shriner. He was predeceased by his first wife, Judy Wooten; a son, Keith Wooten; brother, Clifford Wooten; and sister, Viola Reynolds.

Survivors include Billy's wife, Betty Weeks Wooten of McCalla; son, Jimmy Wooten (Tracy); grandsons, Jack Wooten and Sam Wooten; granddaughter, Ella Wooten; sisters, Dorothy McMeans of Dallas, Texas, Shirley Stephens and Mary Lou Bartlett of Whiting, Indiana, and Demaris Travers of Decatur, Alabama; three step-children, David Weeks (Tammy), Dawn Curtis (Troy), and Michael Weeks (Angie); 10 step-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Morgan United Methodist Church in McCalla, Alabama, immediately followed by the 2 p.m. funeral service at the church. Burial, Helena City Cemetery in Helena, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Morgan United Methodist Church in McCalla, Alabama.
