He will be remembered as an avid Braves fan who rarely missed watching a game. Alabama was his college team of choice, but He would proudly wear the colors where his grandchildren participated. His hobbies included fishing at Lay Lake and tinkering with stuff (an early “Macgyver”) some called repurposing. He enjoyed gardening and was always asking relatives, friends, visitors, repair workers and new friends, “Want some peppers?” He radiated God‘s blessings on every person he met. We celebrate his entry into the arms of our loving God. As a Navy Veteran, he will be inurned at the Alabama National Cemetery.
