Bonnie's kindness and friendship will be missed by many. She was one of the longest serving employees of American Family Care (AFC), where she was a loyal and dedicated co-worker for nearly 25 years.
While she took on various roles within the company, Bonnie may be most remembered for her extraordinary relationships with, and support of, AFC’s physicians. Her professionalism and commitment to AFC and her physicians were apparent to all who knew her, especially those for whom she was a selfless and caring mentor.
Bonnie was preceded in her journey to see our Lord by her beloved mother and father. Survivors include Bonnie's son Adam; her sister Susan; her nieces Toni and Terri; and her much-loved dog Aggie. She will also be especially missed by her many friends, too numerous to name. With them, she shared her love for animals, crocheting, and of course, Margarita Grill in Pelham.
Bonnie will be remembered in a memorial service held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. Visitation will occur from 1-2 p.m., and the service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home's chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at www.ASPCA.org.
