Pam, I am so very sorry to hear of your son passing away.  I am praying for you and your family and trust that you will find comfort and peace in sweet Jesus!

Pam my prayers are with you and Brayn. Words cannot express how heavy my heart felt when I recently heard  about Brandon.Looking at the photos I can remember the early years and how much joy he brought into your lives. Remember that joy and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Jacobs, 
 I would first like to extend my sincere condolences regarding the tragic loss of your wonderful son Brandon.  I am also a freshman at UAB, and I had chemistry class and lab with your son.  Though I never personally talked to him, I recall him well.  He always had a smile on his face and seemed like an intelligent guy.  He struck me as being a very kind and friendly person from just the few times I remember seeing him.

 I just hope that you can understand the full impact your son had on those around him—even on those he had never spoken with (like myself).  He will not go down in history unremembered, nor will his short but eventful life go uncelebrated.  I have no doubt he would have gone on to do important things and continue to be a kind and humble person throughout his success.  The world needs more people like your Brandon—people who make it a better place just by being in it.  I greatly wish that I had gotten to know him better.  His death has had such an impact on us that I can't even begin to imagine the effect it much be having on your family.  I am so very sorry for your tragic loss, and I hope that time will render the pain more tolerable, knowing that Brandon is in a better place.  

 John Steinbeck wrote, “It's so much darker when a light goes out than it would have been if it had never shone.”  I feel that this so accurately describes Brandon.  The world seems somehow less bright because we cannot see his light shining here anymore, but just because we cannot see it does not mean that it isn't there.

 I send my deepest sympathies to you all and your family at this time.  Please know that we are all thinking about him and missing him because of the good person that he was.  Thank you so much for raising someone so genuine; it's so rare nowadays to come across someone who doesn't pretend to be anything but himself.  I know that I will never forget him—the nice guy in lab who always had the right attitude.

The Mallard Pointe Drive neighbors send deepest sympathy to Bryan & Pam.  Keep his spirit alive in your soul and know that you will see him again. That is a promise from God.

We will always be grateful for having know Brandon. What a wonderful, kind, caring, sweet boy he was! Our condolences for your loss.

Brandon was such a blessing to teach while he was in my 5th grade class. He was so kind and loved by everyone! Heaven truly gained an angel. Praying for his parents and family during this difficult time. :(
