Brenda Lambert Ammons

Brenda was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Helena, where she served as church secretary for over 20 years. She also worked for BellSouth for a number of years as an operator and finally worked in the engineering department.

Brenda is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Larry Ammons; her parents, Lloyd and Rubye Lambert; her grandchildren, Frank and Amber Masters; and her brothers-in-law, Kim Middleton and Ed Garner.

She leaves here to cherish her memories her daughter, Kristi Kacille Averette (James); her sisters, Kathy Hurt (Don) and Teresa Phillips (Kerry); her companion, Jerrold Haire; sisters-in-law, Pat Middleton, Patricia Hinton (David), and Tracy Gardner; grandchildren, Patrick and Alicia Averette; great-grandchildren, Brali Gabriel, and Jacob and Grace Pope; niece, Leigh Pounds (Andrew); and nephews, Tim Mullins (Stephanie), Jeromy Phillips, Jason Phillips, Jay Parker (Sara), and Russell Hinton.

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at The Church at Old Town Helena, formerly First Baptist Church Helena, immediately followed by A Service of Remembrance for Brenda at 2 p.m. at the church. She will be laid to rest at Helena City Cemetery.
