Brian Pearson Smith

Brian graduated with his Master Degree from the University of Alabama. He was employed for several years at the University as a computer specialist.

Family was important to Brian and he enjoyed all family gatherings. A free-spirited individual, he loved the outdoors - especially the beach - and was an avid bicyclist. He traveled over 69,000 miles throughout the southern United States on his recumbent three-wheel bike, sometimes with his fellow members of the Druid City Cycle Club and the Tuscaloosa Cycle Club. In one year, he covered over 11,111 miles on 218 different bike rides.

Predeceasing Brian were his paternal grandparents, Ruth M. Smith and Warren J. Smith; his maternal grandfather, John T. Pearson; his paternal great-grandparents, Bess L. Smith and Joseph Smith; aunt, Doris Jane Smith; and uncle, Raymond Manzer.

Survivors include Brian's father, Michael Warren Smith; his mother, Lynn Pearson Noel (Charles J. Noel); his maternal grandmother, Pauline P. Pearson; one sister, Erica Leigh Lundberg (John Lundberg); niece, Ryman Grey; nephew, Fischer Brown; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from both sides of Brian's family.

Visitation will be at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by A Service of Remembrance at 1 p.m. at the funeral home's chapel, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
