Carol Joy Stamps Kinnebrew, age 88, of Shelby County, AL passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019, which would have also have been her and her husbands 63rd wedding anniversary. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on Christmas Day of 1930. Carol graduated from Thompson High school and went on to have a career in Homebuilding while running Indianwood Building Co. INC. She married the love of her life, William “Bill” Robert Kinnebrew on September 21, 1956 and would soon start their family together. Carol loved spending time with her family at Lake Martin where you would most likely find her enjoying many boat rides. She loved life, and spread joy to anyone she met. Carol was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and will greatly be missed.
She is survived by her two sons, Bill Kinnebrew Jr. and Lee Arch Kinnebrew; daughter-in-laws, but loved them as they were her own two daughters, Laurie K. Kinnebrew, and Cindy D. Kinnebrew; grandchildren, William Lee (Stephanie Graves), Jacob, Neil, Kathleen, and Silvia Kinnebrew. Visitation will be Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Christ the King Lutheran Church 611 Riverchase Parkway West Birmingham, AL 35244 with a service to follow at the church. Graveside will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to Childrens Harbor.
