

Carolyn worked at Patterson and Wilder Construction for more than 50 years until her retirement. She was a member of Grace Point Church in Pelham, Alabama.
Carolyn was predeceased by her parents, Homer and Bernice Huffstutler, and a son, Barry Clayton.
Survivors include Carolyn’s daughter, Christy Collins (Stephen); son, Todd Clayton (Vicki); daughter-in-law, Susan Carpenter (Tracy); grandchildren, Adam Scott, Seth Clayton (Amber), Shae Clayton, Cole Clayton, Lyndsy Clayton, Drake Clayton, Chris Collins, Andrew Collins, Kelly Collins, Jackie Collins, Keegan Carpenter; and one great-grandchild, Anna-Kolsyn Clayton.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, immediately followed by the 11 a.m. celebration of Carolyn's life in the funeral home's chapel. The graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Pine Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery in Locust Fork, Alabama.
