

Born on May 31, 1955, Catherine was the daughter of Andrew Hill Jr. and Ella Jean Hill. She was a 1973 graduate of Thompson High School, where she proudly served as a majorette and band member. Throughout her life, Catherine exemplified dedication, compassion, and faith in all that she did.
Catherine enjoyed a distinguished career as a Certified Medical Assistant and Paralegal and faithfully served Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama for 28 years. She often would find ways to volunteer and help others and animals in the community in need. Her strong worth ethic, loyalty, and commitment to helping others earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues and friends.
A devoted Christian, Catherine was a faithful member of Spring Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Montevallo, Alabama. Her faith guided her life and was evident in her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Ella Jean Hill; her daughter, Jennifer Amber Broadhead (Brandon); her son, Justin Wade (Jon Banks); her grandchildren, Allie Grace Broadhead, Mary Catherine Broadhead, Jillianne Marie Broadhead, Conner Banks, and Robert Banks; her sisters, Susan Hill and Emily Seagle; her brother, Andrew Carrington Hill (Kim); five nephews, one niece; and numerous extended family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Hill Jr., and her brother-in-law, Gregory Seagle.
Catherine will be remembered for her strength, devotion to her family, steadfast faith, and loving spirit. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with a celebration of life at 2:00 pm and a graveside service to follow.
The family asks for donations to be made in Catherine's honor to the Keeping Kindness Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization founded by her granddaughter, Allie Grace Broadhead. Catherine proudly served on the Foundation's Board of Directors and was passionate about its mission. The Keeping Kindness Foundation is dedicated in raising awareness for mental health and supporting suicide prevention through education, advocacy, and community outreach.
