Charles "Chuck" William Wilson

Chuck Wilson, 89 of Hoover, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018. Chuck served in the United States Army and as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. He was a dedicated family man who enjoyed cooking on the grill and a good cigar. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by many friends and loved ones.

Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara "Bobbie" Wilson; son-in-law, Bucky Hodges; grandson, Presley Hodges, Jr.; and parents, Charles and Hazel Wilson. He is survived by his daughters, Susan Falls, and her husband, Joe, and Sandra Hodges; and grandson, Leland Hodges.

The celebration of Chuck’s life will be on Saturday, April 7, 2018 starting with a 3:00 pm graveside service at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, immediately followed by a reception hosted by Carol Garrison at the Brookwood Green Condominiums Clubhouse, 130 W. Green, Vestavia Hills, AL 35243.

Memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
