Charles Donald Robedeau

Charles Donald Robedeau was born on May 3, 1934 to the union of Donald and Virginia Robedeau in Toledo, Ohio. Charles was a resident of Tuscaloosa, AL for the last 3 years with a brief stay at Moundville Healthcare and Rehab in Moundville, AL. He passed away on Thursday, April 13 after a brief illness. Charles attended High School in Phenix City, AL at a Catholic Boarding school. He furthered his education at the University of Toledo. Charles was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic church in Montevallo, AL. On May 9, 1966, he married Mary Louise Bailey in Toledo, OH.

Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was employed by General Electric Company for 26 years until he retired. He was always active in his church. He spent many years singing in the choir and playing in the bell choir. He was a member of of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hoover, AL and St. Patrick of Heatherdowns in Toledo, OH.

Charles Robedeau was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise; brothers, Bob and Ed Robedeau and John Quinlan; brother-in-law, Frank Bailey and John Bailey.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Judith Day and Therese Musch (Jim Colby); brothers, Larry Robedeau and Jerry Quinlan (Debbie); sisters-in-law, Ann Bailey and Donna Golembiewski; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Charles will be held Friday, April 21, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, 80 St Thomas Way, Montevallo, AL 35115, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
